Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships. Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Client & Agency Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at agencies and direct clients. Maintain a regular presence with creative agencies to stay informed about client needs.
  • Sales & Proposals: Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals. Negotiate and close deals, often involving complex sales cycles. Ensure contracts, purchase orders, and production documents are completed accurately.
  • Industry & Competitor Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings and trends in the out-of-home (OOH) and broader media landscape. Understand client business objectives and align media solutions accordingly.
  • Reporting & Planning: Regularly update management on sales activity, pending deals, and pipeline projections. Track performance against monthly and annual targets.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client entertainment and networking activities, including coffee meetings, lunches, dinners, and industry events, occasionally after hours.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional image and conduct at all times. Present the company positively during all interactions.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the media industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage paperwork, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.
  • Ability to meet minimum expectations of 8 client or agency meetings per week.
  • Media industry experience; OOH media experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct a minimum of 8 meetings per week with clients or agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of proposals, pending deals, and client interactions.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products, competitor offerings, and the media landscape.
  • Attend networking events, client entertainment, and agency open days to strengthen relationships and generate new leads.
